SPARCAS Steals the Montel Show
When Slumber Parties president, owner, and founder Kim Brecheen was approached by The Montel Williams Show, she knew that they were interested in talking about her success as an entrepreneur. She didn’t know that they were also following the successes of SPARCAS. In a surprise move, The Montel Williams Show flew SPARCAS beneficiary Tanya Elkerton out to the show to meet Kim and thank her for making a profound difference in her life.

SPARCAS Reaches Out to Colorado Family in Need
SPARCAS got into the holiday spirit this season by providing a small Christmas miracle for the family of SPARCAS applicant Tanya Elkerton. Tanya embodied all of the attributes that SPARCAS looks for in an applicant: a strong work ethic, a desire for self-sufficiency, and the need for a hand up, not a hand out. Her hand up came in the form of a new car, housewares and groceries, Christmas presents for her children, and the payment of $4,000 worth of accumulated childcare debt.

SPARCAS Assistance Program is Formed
SPARCAS was formed through the vision of Slumber Parties President,
Kim Brecheen. She had a desire to spread the prosperity of her
company beyond its boundaries by giving Slumber Parties Distributors
a way to help families overcome difficult situations.
The spark that truly made this organization a reality came following
Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. To help women along the Gulf Coast, Slumber
Parties Distributors from around the world sent supplies and aid. When
Kim saw this outpouring of support, she knew those working with her
company were ready to share the loving and caring nature of the Slumber
Parties sisterhood with other women.

Hurricane Assistance
In the wake of Hurricane Katrina and Rita, many people, including a
number of Slumber Parties Distributors, lost everything. Left without
homes and supplies, residents of the Gulf Coast often had to rely on
donations and government assistance just to get by. In response to this
tragedy, Slumber Parties Distributors from around the world began sending
money, clothes, food and other items to Baton Rouge. With the help of
Slumber Parties Corporate staff, these supplies were organized and
presented to Distributors in need throughout the Gulf South.
