Slumber Parties Actively Restoring Character and Spirit (SPARCAS)
is a non-profit organization sponsored by Slumber Parties and its Distributors. Through
our assistance and projects, we strive to provide women with services that will build
their family’s character, restore their spirits and empower their lives. SPARCAS
volunteers work directly with women—especially mothers—who need assistance. In this way,
we have become a unique network of women helping women.
SPARCAS provides ways to enhance
life by “adopting” families and working with them for up to a year. Our projects range
from helping with home improvements and car repairs to covering education expenses and
overdue bills. All these activities are designed to help families become active in
their own personal improvement and to teach them ways of getting their lives back on track.
Assistance from SPARCAS is not a handout; it is a way to restore women and their
families to a satisfactory way of life. Sometimes, people are unable to make ends
meet because of the obstacles they encounter. When faced with such hardships,
it can often be difficult to recover. Support from SPARCAS can expedite the process of rebuilding lives, so families can prosper again.
When SPARCAS reviews applications for assistance, we look for people with strong
character and a genuine desire to change. These qualities assure us that our efforts
will be productive, because the families are truly driven to make permanent improvements
in their lives.
SPARCAS volunteers share their spirit of caring and sisterhood with women throughout
the world. Each of our projects is a way to create a spark that should continue to
inspire change. Once we have reached our goals, we hope those we have helped can begin
to take an active role in continuing to restore their lives and enrich their spirits.
